This is your resource for announcing upcoming events related to progressive activism in Palm Beach County. We built this page to help spread the word to the community so help us by taking a moment to read our guidelines before sending your event.

• Give us a good event title. "Be against the war", isn't nearly as useful as "Summit Post Office Draft Card Burning" The first title is completely bereft of information. The second title is informative and intriguing. Help us help you with an attractive title.
• Less is more. In your summary, answer "who," "what," "when" and "where." Save "why" and "how" for the people that inquire and/or show up.
• Exact address, please. Addresses typically have (a) a number, (b) a street name and (c) a designation. An example of this is "3034 MyAddress Lane". Don't give us more or less than that in the street address. For example, "3034 MyAddress Lane on the right next to the palm tree" will make the code malfunction. Put details in the detail box. We appreciate your understanding.
• Exact city, please. WPB isn't a valid city. That's true on so many levels but, for the purpose of this form, "West Palm Beach" would be the correct designation. Take the extra second to do it right so a proper map can be generated. We appreciate your understanding.
• Use basic HTML. We're not going to reject your calendar event because you don't know how to use <p> tag but you'll save everybody time if you put that tag between all your paragraphs. Refer to the sidebar on the left of the description section for acceptable HTML.
• Follow the date format. It's simple and allows us to change the date into several formats through the code. If your event is a one day gig, please put the exact same date and time into the "end date" box.
• Uploading Flyers. PDF format only. 150KB or less. Anything outside of those two requirements just won't work.
• No code. Anything outside of the listed acceptable tags will be stripped out. That includes the style tag parameter.
